A Surprise Factor

Elected as the SuperLiga's rookie of the split in spring of 2022, Myrwn's path to pro has been a fulgurant ascension in recent years. Having just been crowned as the league's most valuable player in summer of this year, the Spanish top laner is going on a rampage and is ready to join the LEC.

Prior to his rise to pro play, the top laner competed for several high profiles organizations such as: Los Heretics, BISONS ECLUB, and Astralis Stormbringers (also previously known as Origen Stormbringers). Marching through the Liga Nexo in 2021, the player's early career was marked through his sheer dominance on the grass-root Spanish scene before moving directly to the 1st division in 2022.

Known for his many unconventional picks, Myrwn has made a name for himself during his tenure with BISONS ECLUB, with whom he attended the EMEA Masters three times and finished as runner-ups of the SuperLiga twice. Most recently, the player also competed for Los Heretics, with whom he won the Iberian Cup by beating Finetwork KOI in a 3-games sweep.

During his tenure in the SuperLiga, the player popularized creative play-styles and was regarded as a wildcard for his teams. From Zeri, to Varus, or even AD Ahri, Myrwn is expected to bring a surprise factor to his new team.

The Spanish Master Plan

Locking-in their final member, the MAD Lions have now concluded their off-season by signing the promising Spanish rookie Myrwn. Capable of playing both tanks and creative picks, the player is set to bring new perspectives to the roster. Accompanied by storied jungler Javier "Elyoya" Prades Batalla, MAD Lions is looking to assemble an interesting top side aimed to capitalize on its unpredictability.

To join the players, the team was also reported to have signed several members from the EMEA Masters finalist roster of Movistar Riders, bringing along their mid laner, bot laner, support, and head coach. Together, the players will form a team which is primarily formed of Spanish rookies and upcoming talents.

One of the dark horses of the 2024 season, the new roster is aimed at upsetting the higher contenders of the league and prove itself despite not featuring much experience in higher leagues. With Elyoya at the helm, MAD Lions is set to feature raw talent and mechanics through some of the most anticipated rookies of the Spanish scene.
