AD Carry David "Supa" Martínez García has reached a verbal agreement with MAD Lions to join the LoL EMEA Championship (LEC), according to Sheep Esports sources. The Spanish player received interest from 3 LEC teams this off-season before settling with the Madrid-based organization.

Earlier last week, MAD Lions
were reported by Sheep Esports to have allowed the vast majority of their 2023 roster to explore options, indicating that the Spanish organization was aiming to make sweeping changes heading into 2024.

Tomás "Melzhet" Campelos Fernández to join the organization in the LEC next year.
With three members now locked-in, MAD appears to be in the process of assembling a predominantly Spanish team for the upcoming year as they prepare for the 2024 season. As previously reported, the status of any remaining MAD members is currently unclear.
Together, the three former MRS members dominated the LVP SuperLiga in 2023 and even reached the EMEA Masters finals in Montpellier during the summer split. With former MRS jungler
Ismaïl "Isma" Boualem having reached an agreement with SK Gaming earlier this week, only two members of the former ERL team's roster have not yet found LEC homes.
Supa emerged as one of the most sought-after AD Carry prospects of the 2024 off-season. According to sources, the Spanish player received a total of three LEC offers, thanks to his impressive performance in the EMEA Masters under the banner of MRS. Having competed with support Alvaro since the summer of 2022 and worked with coach Melzhet since 2019, MAD Lions proved to be the ideal destination for the Spanish rookie to continue his journey towards the pinnacle of competition in the EMEA region.
