KCB leads the head-to-head record against Gentle Mates with 10 wins to 4
Karmine Corp Blue has once again secured a spot in the LFL final. The Blue Wall swept Gentle Mates 3-0 on Thursday in dominant fashion: two stomps and a closely contested 48-minute match. This marks KCB’s seventh LFL final in its history. Next Thursday, they’ll fight for their fifth title, which would tie them with LDLC OL as the most decorated team in league history (titles in Spring 2021, Summer 2023, Spring 2024, and Flash In 2025).
Gentle Mates drops to the lower bracket and await tonight’s match outcome to learn their next opponent. After this series, the club has now lost 10 games to the Blue Wall, with only 4 wins in their brief rivalry. They have one week to prepare for what could be two crucial best-of-five series next week—matches that could lead them to their first-ever LFL title. Following the loss, Lanzo “Zicssi” Ciajolo shared on social media that the team’s recent training was disrupted due to personal matters on his end.
One finalist will be chasing their first LFL title
Only three matches remain before the Spring Split of the LFL comes to a close. Tonight, we’ll find out who the third and final team representing France at the EMEA Masters (June 3–21) will be. The spot will be decided in a best-of-five between BK ROG and Vitality.Bee—two teams still capable of pulling off a miracle run to take home the LFL title next week. The match kicks off at 6 PM tonight.
