Locking in the project for 2026
After a 2025 VALORANT season in which they consistently reached playoffs without ever fully breaking into title contention, Karmine Corp are consolidating around a renewed core for VCT EMEA 2026. Rather than opting for a full rebuild, the French organisation has chosen continuity with targeted adjustments, assembling a roster designed to compete from day one when the new VCT EMEA season begins in Berlin.
The starting lineup features Dmitry "SUYGETSU" Ilyushin, Hazem "avez" Khaled, Burak "LewN" Alkan, Bogdan "Sheydos" Naumov, and Dastan "dos9" Zhumagali. SUYGETSU, a Masters Copenhagen champion and one of EMEA’s most established Sentinel specialists, anchors the defensive side, while Egyptian Initiator/flex avez returns after his first full year with KC. Around this existing spine, Karmine Corp are set to integrate Turkish prospect LewN, veteran rifler Sheydos and versatile Controller/flex dos9. This combination brings together proven tier-one experience with emerging firepower in a single five-man unit.
Experience and structure behind the roster
The balance of profiles within the lineup is central to KC’s approach for 2026. LewN adds additional mechanical impact and flexibility after distinguishing himself in regional and international play, while dos9 arrives with a reputation for adaptive Controller play and solid fundamentals. Sheydos, a Masters Berlin winner and long-standing figure in the EMEA scene, brings extensive big-stage experience and familiarity with high-pressure environments. Together with SUYGETSU and avez, they form a multinational roster aligned with the model that has come to define the upper tier of EMEA.
Behind the players, head coach Andrey "ENGH" Sholokhov remains the constant driving the project. Known for his structured, system-oriented approach and his ability to manage mixed-language rosters, ENGH oversees a lineup that now combines his preferred tactical framework with a group of players accustomed to competing at the highest level.
With their 2026 roster settled early and their coaching leadership already in place, Karmine Corp enter the new season with something they have often lacked in previous iterations. A clearly defined core, the time required to refine it, and a coherent direction for the next VCT cycle.
