From Game Changers finalist to Pacific franchise staff
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Russian coach Vladimir "vladk0r" Kornev will join Global Esports' VALORANT division as an assistant coach for the next VCT Pacific season. Following the recruitment of Xavier "xavi8k" Juan, Hector "FrosT" Rosario, and Kale "autumn" Dunne, Global Esports have now turned their attention to vladk0r, currently the head coach of Twisted Minds Orchid, a Saudi-backed Game Changers EMEA roster competing in the women’s scene.
Twisted Minds Orchid combine repeated runs in the regional Saudi Womens eLeague with deep appearances in Riot’s official Game Changers EMEA circuit. Under vladk0r's leadership, the team has built up a substantial sample of matches with a clearly positive win rate, highlighted by a grand final appearance at VCT Game Changers EMEA Stage 3, where they lost 3–0 in the title series.
Over the past year, his teams have consistently reached the later stages of both EMEA and Middle Eastern events, accumulating runner-up finishes and domestic trophies while maintaining competitive ratings against strong opposition.
Global Esports searching for solutions in Pacific
The move will place vladk0r inside a Global Esports project that has struggled to convert its investments into results, closing the 2025 Pacific regular season with a combined 2–8 record across both stages and missing the playoffs twice despite rebuilding its roster around a new international core.
The organisation already operates with an expanded staff group, including a head coach and analytical support, but the current structure has not lifted the team out of the lower half of the league or translated into meaningful championship points.
