Studio upgrades: Enhanced tools and comfort for professional play
On Tuesday, Riot Games announced an upgrade for the VALORANT VCT EMEA Pro Player Performance Rooms, equipping them with improved peripherals to provide players with a more consistent pre-match experience. These upgrades form part of a long-term plan, with new high-spec PCs scheduled for introduction later this year in preparation for the 2026 season.
The broadcast production process has also been enhanced with upgraded audio hardware, which benefits both on-site broadcast talent and co-streamers. The main goal is to deliver a more immersive sound experience for viewers worldwide.

Furthermore, Riot has partnered with Herman Miller Gaming to make them the official chair supplier for VCT EMEA. The Embody Gaming Chairs introduced on the main stage are designed to maximise player comfort and support during each match.
Introducing the VCT EMEA Pro Player Council
One of the key updates is the launch of the VCT EMEA Pro Player Council, a new initiative designed to provide players with a structured platform through which they can share feedback and engage directly with the league's leadership. Each organisation has nominated a representative to ensure that all teams have a voice in ongoing discussions. In addition to formal meetings, a dedicated chat server has been created to facilitate real-time dialogue among council members throughout the season.

With this initiative, Riot Games aims to build a collaborative relationship with its players and shape the future of the league through shared feedback and open communication.
Broadcast Innovations: Storytelling and Player Introductions
The Stage 2 broadcast will introduce new features designed to improve the viewing experience. These include a revamped approach to in-game storytelling, with closer collaboration between casters, observers, and the replay team. This will include shorter, more tactical replays to help fans better understand pivotal moments and strategies.
Voice communications and live player reactions will continue to be featured, bringing fans closer to the personalities and emotions that drive the action. To showcase new talent, Week 1 will feature dedicated segments introducing debuting players, complete with custom graphics, performance statistics, and personal highlights, enabling fans to connect with up and coming players from the outset.
Summer Vibes and Fan-Centric On-Site Events
The Stage 2 broadcast will also be updated for the season, with summer-themed music designed to enhance the atmosphere of each round.
Those attending in person at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin can enjoy a special VALORANT Anniversary Vernissage during Week 1, celebrating five years of the game. This on-site event will include:
- A curated exhibition of fan art from across the region
- Free snacks and drinks
- Opportunities to meet fellow fans
- Watch 1v1 showmatches featuring creators such as Harmii and Jessydelua, who will be using the new Phaseguard skin line.

From player-focused upgrades and new storytelling tools to immersive fan events, Riot's VCT EMEA Stage 2 promises to deliver a more refined, community-driven competitive experience. As the season resumes, Riot Games invites fans to join the celebrations online and in person.
