Karmine Corp are looking to secure a historic Three-peat
This Tuesday, September 30, marked the start of Stage 3 of the VALORANT Champions Tour Game Changers (VCT GC) EMEA. So far this season, there has only been one storyline: Karmine Corp’s dominance. The Blue Wall claimed both Stage 1 and Stage 2, defeating GIANTX 3-2 in back-to-back finals.
Stage 3 offers different opportunities: for some, it’s the chance to clinch a ticket to the Seoul Championship or to finally claim or reclaim the top spot; for others, it’s about chasing down a historic three-peat.
The ten teams will battle it out in a Swiss Stage, played in a single round-robin best-of-three format. The Top 6 advance to the playoffs, with the Top 2 moving directly into the Upper Bracket Semifinals. Teams finishing between 3rd and 6th place will have to survive the Knockout Round, a do-or-die elimination match.
A Well-Known Format
The playoffs will run from October 17 to November 2. Following the Knockout Stage, the bracket will once again be played in a Double Elimination format. All matches will be best-of-threes, except for the Lower Final and Grand Final, which will be played as best-of-five series.
