FURIA goes international
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Daniel "eeiu" Vucenovic has reached a verbal agreement with FURIA for the 2026 VCT Americas season. The Canadian player from 100 Thieves is set to join the Brazilian organization, which appears to be taking a major step toward internationalization after fielding exclusively local players since its entry into VALORANT. Sheep Esports recently revealed that FURIA had also reached an agreement with Michael “nerve” Yerrow.
Joining 100 Thieves at the end of 2023, eeiu only attended one international LAN with the team — Masters Shanghai 2024. It was a brief moment of success that the North American organization struggled to replicate this year, delivering a string of disappointing results. After a rough start at the Americas Kickoff, where they finished Top 9-12, 100T managed to bounce back slightly during Stage 1, securing a Top 5-6 placement. Later, eeiu and his teammates barely clinched the final spot for the Esports World Cup, but failed to advance from the group stage following defeats to Fnatic and EDward Gaming. Returning to Los Angeles for Stage 2, the struggles continued, as 100 Thieves once again placed Top 5-6, missing out on Champions Paris 2025 qualification.
FURIA, on the other hand, has faced similar difficulties over the past two seasons, frequently finishing near the bottom of the standings. Throughout 2024 and 2025, the Brazilian team consistently landed in the Top 9-10 range across both the Kickoff and regular Stages. The 2025 season has been no different. After a Top 9-12 finish at the Kickoff, FURIA entered Stage 1 in the Omega Group, where they failed to win a single series and only managed to take two maps out of five matches played. The slump persisted into Stage 2, where the team suffered five more losses and scraped just one map victory.
