According to sources close to Sheep Esports, support Olivier "
Prime" Payet has reached a verbal agreement with
Ici Japon Corp (IJC) and will be staying
in the LFL next season. Having already reportedly acquired the services of
Daniel “Sertuss” Gamani,
Theo “Theocacs” Sauda, and
Jeon "Howling" Ho-bin, IJC are about to take the plunge into the French league with a well-stocked team so far. Gentle Mates were also interested in the French support, to bring him alongside
Markos "Comp" Stamkopoulos in the botlane.
After two years in the Prime League (German league) Prime just came back to his home soil in 2024 to play for Team GO in the LFL. The support already played for the French league in 2021, with Game Ward at the time. This year, he joined the former LEC AD Carry Jean “Jezu” Massol, who joined GO in 2023, and together they struggled to bring the same success to the French org, especially in Spring.
The Red Storm finished sixth in the first split of the year and came back on track for Summer with a fourth-place finish. Prime and his team also did well at the EMEA Masters, as they got eliminated by their black beast in the semi-final: Vitality.Bee (1-3). Indeed, the Bees eliminated GO from every competition they participated in this year, except The Coupe de France. As
Jezu will stick to Team GO for 2025, Prime will start a new journey as an IJC player, with an AD Carry that is yet to be known.
