According to sources close to Sheep Esports, toplaner Jeon "
Howling" Ho-bin has reached a verbal agreement with
Ici Japon Corp (IJC) and will be staying
in the LFL next season. Having already reportedly acquired the services of
Daniel “Sertuss” Gamani and
Theo “Theocacs” Sauda, IJC are about to take the plunge into the French league with a well-stocked topside.
The organization created by the influencer Benoît “Tev” Theveny made its first step on the competitive scene with a perfect year in 2024 Div2. With a promising roster, Ici Japon Corp didn’t disappoint and won both splits against IziDream (respectively 3-2 and 3-0). They went on to take the spot of AEGIS in the LFL during the Up&Down, with a clean 3-1 victory. Now, IJC just acquired the services of arguably one of the strongest toplaners in the French league throughout the year.
Howling is now a familiar face in the LFL, having moved to BK ROG in 2023. The toplaner decided to settle in Europe after a rough experience in the 2022 LCK, with Liiv SANDBOX, where he only played four games for four losses. In France, he achieved better results during the 2023 Summer Split where BKR lost in the final to Karmine Corp and finished runner-up. This year, the team had worst results collectively with two fifth-place finishes.

However, at EMEA Masters this summer, they had a good run - starting in the Last Chance Qualifier - before falling short in the quarter-finals against the eventual finalists of the competition, Vitality.Bee (2-3). With an undeniably good individual year, Howling is top 3 in terms of toplaners statistics of the 2024 LFL according to
Sheep Stats (behind BDSA Janik "
JNX" Bartels and KCB Volodymyr "Maynter" Sorokin).
