Team GO has announced that Jean "Jezu" Massol will remain with the French organization for the next LFL season, marking his third consecutive year with the Redstrom. According to sources close to Sheep Esports, AD Carries Belan "TakeSet" Ahour, Josip "Jopa" Čančar and Khalil "Rin" Sahraoui had also been considered. The AD Carry, who joined the team in 2023 after a stint in the LEC with SK Gaming, is still in search of his first title with GO. His last championship win dates back to his time with Misfits Premier, when they defeated… GamersOrigin (now Team GO) in the finals.
Jezu has consistently been one of the most reliable AD Carries in the LFL, helping GO remain strong contenders over the past two years. They finished 2nd in Spring 2023, 3rd in Summer 2023, and 4th in Summer 2024, and also reached the semi-finals of the EMEA Masters in both of the last two summer editions.
To the next level
Despite these solid performances, Jezu and Team GO seem to have hit a ceiling, particularly when competing against the LFL's top teams. In 2024, the gap between GO and the dominant trio of BDS Academy, Karmine Corp Blue, and, to a lesser extent, Vitality.Bee, appeared significant. Although Jezu had an excellent Summer Split, he was often overshadowed by his standout rivals, including Tim "Keduii" Willers, Caliste "Caliste" Henry-Hennebert, and Josip "Jopa" Čančar. In their two EMEA Masters semi-finals, GO was eliminated by LFL teams: KC in 2023, Vitality.Bee in 2024.
However, 2025 could be a turning point for Jezu. He will be joined by several high-caliber players, including jungler Andrei "Xerxe" Dragomir and support Théo "Zoelys" Le Scornec, as previously reported by Sheep Esports. Zoelys, who shone with LDLC OL in Spring 2023, will join Jezu on the botlane, eager for redemption after missing out on the LEC with Rogue in 2024. With Aymerick "Hairost" Sergeant, who coached Zoelys to an LFL title in Spring 2023, now at the helm of Team GO, the team seems poised for a successful season.
