Goliath used to play several years in LCK
Kim "Goliath" Hyo-min is heading back to EMEA. According to sources close to Sheep Esports, the Korean support has reached a verbal agreement with Ramboot Club and will compete in the Superliga this Summer. He replaces Rúben Alexandre "Rhuckz" Barbosa, who leaves the starting roster after just one split and retires from pro play to transition as a coach.
His signing is part of yet another roster rebuild for Ramboot Club — the third in as many splits this year. After a fresh five-man lineup in Spring and a mid-season reshuffle in Winter, the organization is once again overhauling its entire starting five ahead of Summer. Goliath is one of several new names stepping in as Ramboot searches for a more stable identity in an increasingly competitive Superliga.
An experienced import
Goliath arrives from GnG Amazigh, with whom he competed in the Arabian League, finishing third, and EMEA Masters this Spring. The 22-year-old support has had a nomadic career to date, moving between Korea, Poland, Turkey, and now Spain. His last stint in the EMEA scene was with Zero Tenacity during Ultraliga Winter, where he played under the alias Parasite. A strong solo queue presence, he peaked at over 1400 LP in Korean Challenger earlier this year, showcasing the mechanical consistency he’s carried across regions.
His arrival in Spain signals Ramboot’s intent to stabilize the bottom lane — a position that’s seen three different starting supports in just three splits. The team’s strongest showing remains Summer 2024, when they finished third. But with a 5th-place finish in Winter and a 7th-place drop in Spring, the need for a clear direction has never been more urgent.
Goliath now takes on the challenge of helping Ramboot reestablish synergy in a year marked by constant resets. The Korean support joins a roster still in flux, but with a familiar mandate: to finally bring structure — and results — to a team still searching for both.
