Many are players for Team Heretics's new project
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Team Heretics is exploring its options for the AD Carry position as Víctor "Flakked" Lirola Tortosa's contract is expiring. The Spanish player is still in the plans of the new coaching staff, but a large number of profiles are being considered.
With the recent arrival of Jonas "Hidon" Vraa as head coach, Team Heretics is active in this transfer window. Changes are being considered in all roles within the Spanish team in order to build the best possible roster for next year.
Multiple profiles and options considered
Among the options considered to potentially replace Flakked, Team Heretics showed interest in ERL players such as Franciszek "Harpoon" Gryszkiewicz, Josip "Jopa" Čančar, or Thomas "3XA" Foucou. Other players were considered as imports, including Yoon "Ice" Sang-hoon, Kim "Berserker" Min-cheol, or even Sin "Smash" Guem-jae. Despite all of this, the team could continue with Flakked for their new project.
A face of the team
After his rookie year in LEC with G2 in 2022, Flakked left the LEC and signed with Los Heretics, the academy team of Team Heretics. But after just one spring split in the Superliga, Flakked was promoted to the LEC team as they struggled in their first year in Europe's top league. He replaced Jakob "Jackspektra" Kepple and after a better summer split, Team Heretics finished fourth, which remains the team's best result in the LEC to date.
After a more complicated year in 2024 in terms of results, Flakked is still the only player from the team retained for 2025. Surrounded by three rookies with Carlsen, Kamiloo, and Paul "Stend" Lardin, as well as Théo "Sheo" Borile, the team reached its peak with a top 6 in the spring, but only finished in the top 8 in the winter and summer, struggling to show real collective progress throughout the year. In a recent interview with Sheep Esports, Flakked expressed his frustration with himself for not being able to achieve something with Team Heretics in three years.
