Dekap has reached a verbal agreement that runs through the end of 2026
A domino effect unfolded at Vitality.Bee following the end of the Spring Split. According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Vitality.Bee has reached a verbal agreement with Waleed "Dekap" Mohammed Ismail to join their LFL roster for the upcoming Summer Split. He will replace Kadir "Fleshy" Kemiksiz, who was recently promoted to the LEC roster after the departure of veteran midlaner Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer.
Dekap was the club's first option. Vitality.Bee will pay a buyout fee to Geekay for his transfer. Buyouts remain uncommon in the current ERL landscape, but the organization was set on securing the player as they believe he could have the potential to play with their LEC roster. The agreement covers the 2025 Summer Split and the entire 2026 season.
A rising Support with LEC attention
Dekap is not new to the radar of top-level teams. Over the past year, several LEC organizations have shown interest in the Jordanian support. In another context, he could very well have been one of the supports promoted to the LEC in these past few splits. But Dekap chose to take a different path. Rather than wait longer for a top-tier team to make space, he committed early to Vitality.Bee’s project, convinced by their development structure and long-term vision.
At 24, Dekap has been playing with Geekay for the past two and a half years. Since joining the team, he has won the Arabian League four times. While they often carried the hopes of their region at the EMEA Masters, their best result came in Spring 2024, when they reached the semi-finals before falling 1–3 to Eintracht Spandau, who went on to win the tournament. Geekay remained closely followed throughout this period for its impressive level of play in the league and helped spotlight several emerging players alongside Dekap, including midlaner Ahmad “Giyuu” Charif and, more recently, Mohamed “Boda” Yahia, who joined Geekay after his stellar performance with Nigma Galaxy the year before.
A chance to break their LFL ceiling
His arrival is expected to bring renewed momentum to Vitality.Bee in the LFL. Earlier this year, the team fielded a roster considered among the strongest in the league. However, they finished only 7th–8th during the Flash-In (the Winter Split equivalent) and placed 4th in Spring after a 0–3 loss to BK ROG. Led by Vincent “Vetheo” Berrié, the team had finished first in the regular season both times but was unable to convert that into success in best-of series under the fearless format. Fleshy’s promotion opens the door for new blood in the support role and raises the possibility of another rookie making their mark in a league that continues to produce new talent.
