Sheo is under contract with Team Heretics until the end of 2026
Team Heretics have permitted their jungler, Théo "Sheo" Borile, to explore his options for the 2026 season, sources tell Sheep Esports on Friday. The French jungler is under contract until November 16, 2026, but is allowed to talk with other teams in the scenario that Team Heretics commits to another jungler. While Sheo staying on the team remains likely, Team Heretics has engaged in discussions with other junglers such as Iván "Razork" Martín Díaz (reportedly on the way out of Fnatic) and Can "Closer" Çelik.
Sheo has played three splits with Team Heretics and served as the team’s captain during that time. In each split, he was the metronome and the primary source of decision-making. At the start of the year, many expected the team to end in tenth place in the league, which never happened—they even reached the playoffs in all three splits. However, with an eighth-place finish in Winter, sixth in Spring, and seventh in Summer, the team never managed to break out of the LEC’s mid-tier. Despite that, Heretics saw limited growth ahead for their 2025 roster and are starting a new project for 2026.
Major changes for Heretics
As previously reported by Sheep Esports, Víctor "Machuki" Machuca Segura will not be the team’s head coach, as both sides failed to reach an agreement. The solo laners, Carl Ulsted "Carlsen" Carlsen and Kamil "Kamiloo" Haudegond, will also not be part of the roster next year. The French midlaner has already found a new team, joining Karmine Corp Blue in the LFL.
More recently, the organization announced the arrival of their new head coach, Jonas "Hidon" Vraa. According to sources, the organization chose him over other candidates, including Simon “Swiffer” Papamarkos and Arvindir “Arvindir” Singh, ultimately selecting the Danish coach.
Onto a new team?
While Sheo could remain with Team Heretics, he needs to be ready should his organization sign a new player. Sheo will start discussions with other teams for the LEC 2026 season, but is likely to stay in LEC as some teams have already shown signs of interest.
Indeed, though contract limitations make things complicated, it shouldn’t be difficult for the French jungler to find a new team after his strong year. He began his career in the Open Tour before quickly appearing with LDLC OL and then the Tony Parker Adéquat Academy in LFL Division 2. He later joined BDS Academy for his first year in the LFL, reaching two Split finals as well as an EMEA Masters final. This success earned him a promotion to the LEC with BDS, where he spent two years, participating in the Worlds and achieving four LEC podium finishes.
