The French midlaner doesn’t know if he will be back
French League of Legends midlaner and streamer Loïc "Toucouille" Dubois has announced that he will take a break from streaming and content creation due to a serious medical condition. In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Toucouille revealed he has been diagnosed with Chiari Malformation, a neurological disorder in which brain tissue extends into the spinal canal, causing compression and often severe symptoms.
Toucouille steps away from streaming and pro play
“In the coming months, I’ll need to step away from streaming,” Toucouille wrote. “I’ve received a serious diagnosis—Chiari Malformation—which is compressing a sensitive part of my brain. I’ll be undergoing a delicate surgery to protect my health and my future.” Toucouille explained that he had been living with persistent pain and real risks, and that the surgery could no longer be postponed. Despite his fears, he expressed hope that the procedure would allow him to return stronger, healthier, and ready to embrace life alongside his community once more.
“I’m scared, but if everything goes well, I’ll come back stronger, lighter, and excited to experience everything again with you.” Known for his several years in the LFL and his time in the LCS and CBLOL, as well as his engaging presence on stream, Toucouille thanked his fans for their ongoing support, love, and encouragement. Everyone wishes him nothing but to rest and have a successful operation.
