Galions remain undefeated with a 7-0 record this split
By taking down Karmine Corp Blue 2-1 in their BO3 on Wednesday, Galions became the first LFL team to secure a spot at the EMEA Masters Summer Split. This win locks them into a top-2 finish in the regular season, which means that even in the worst-case scenario — finishing third in playoffs — they are guaranteed their first European appearance of the year.
They now join six other teams already qualified for the Summer EMEA Masters. At least three LFL representatives will be present at the event, with the league’s fourth seed also earning a shot through the Last Chance Qualifier.
A winning bet for Galions
This Summer Split tells a story of resilience and bold decisions for Galions. After two splits far from their ambitions, including a disappointing 6th–7th place in spring, the team made a drastic call: replacing both their ADC and Head Coach. That gamble brought in Franciszek “HARPOON” Gryszkiewicz and Nikola “xani” Zrinjski from LFL2 to take over from Jean “Jezu” Massol and Aymerick “Hairost” Sergeant.
And the gamble paid off. The chemistry clicked instantly. The club now sits uncontested at the top of the LFL, undefeated with seven straight BO3 victories. Only one obstacle remains in the regular season: Solary. Win that, and Galions would complete a flawless split — undefeated, and officially crowned the league’s juggernaut heading into playoffs and the title race.

On Wednesday, they proved their dominance again by beating Karmine Corp Blue, their closest rival and perennial contender. The clash carried an extra edge: in a Sheep Esports interview, HARPOON had challenged Thomas “3XA” Foucou, promising to show who was truly stronger. While the series was ultimately decided through superior coordination and the precise shotcalling of Théo “Zoelys” Le Scornec and Andrei “Xerxe” Dragomir, the young ADC once again stood out with his mechanical flair.
Rats on the road
At this point, Galions look to have elevated their play above the rest of an already stacked league. Their weaknesses are hard to spot: their drafts are sharp and straightforward, their collective play is coherent, their map movements crisp and decisive. Their teamfights? Almost surgical. Finding flaws has become a challenge in itself.
And while it may be too early to draw conclusions, this version of Galions rekindles hope for the LFL to reclaim the EMEA Masters crown. A crown that has eluded the league — the tournament’s historically most dominant region — since their first title run back in 2019. To get there, however, they may have to topple the reigning double champions, Los Ratones, who stand just one BO5 away in the NLC from qualifying to the Main Event themselves.
