A very original team
As he holds one of the two influencer team slots for the upcoming LFL Invitational, Nisqy has finalized its roster. Toplaner Alexandre "Hiro" El Hodebey, Jungler Stéphane "Manaty" Dimier, Midlaner Yasin "Nisqy" Dinçer, AD Carry "Riip" and Support Ersin "Blue" Gören will form the starting roster of the team whose name has also been revealed. In honor of Zhou "Bo" Yang-Bo, who is known by this nickname in SoloQ, the team will be named ZYB.
Indeed, Nisqy isn't just the CEO and face of the team; he will also be the midlaner. The professional player and streamer has a career spanning over the years in Esports. Playing as a midlaner in top-tier teams across both Europe and North America, he recently played as a substitute for Karmine Corp in the LEC.
Atypical profiles
To decide his toplaner, Nisqy organized a small 1v1 competition on his stream to determine who would take on the role. After a few clashes, it was Hiro who emerged victorious and will therefore return to the LFL after a brief four-match adventure with Team BDS Academy in the last Winter split. After some discussions, it was agreed that Eric "Sleyer" Xie, a toplaner who has played in LFL Division 2, notably with Joblife in the past or Lille Esports this year, would take on the role of substitute to complete the team. The toplaners Askar "ZongoLeDozo" Recep and Adam "Adam" Maanane were also considered during the offseason. The latter joined Trayton's team instead.
In the jungle, Manaty has been through a few teams in LFL or Division 2 with Solary and Joblife. He recently made a name for himself with Team Phantasma, with whom he reached the semi-finals of the EMEA Masters Winter and with whom he won the Hellenic Legends League (Greek league) three times. After disappointing results in his rookie years in France, Manaty returns seeking revenge.
They will be accompanied by Riip as AD Carry, usually nicknamed "Gen.G Ruler". This will be the first professional experience for the player, who is usually known for appearing on Nisqy's or Kamel "Kameto" Kebir's streams and commenting on Karmine Corp's matches with him. Known for making viewers laugh a lot with his way of speaking and his jokes, they will undoubtedly have their eyes on him for his LFL debut.
Another Belgian player will be added to the support position. Nisqy, being the team's midlaner, it will be Blue who will take on the support role. Former LEC midlaner with SK Gaming and LCS player with Dignitas, Blue has just spent a year without playing, but is making his return to competition by playing in the LFL for the first time.
Coaching the team will be none other than Kamel "Kameto" Kebir, the CEO of Karmine Corp. The Assistant Coach of the team will be Grok, the famous AI from Twitter.
The LFL Invitational
This new roster will be one of the estimated 20 teams participating in the new LFL Invitational, taking place during the Winter Split. Just like any team participating, they may qualify for the EMEA Masters but also for the LFL Spring and Summer split for the remainder of the year.
Nisqy and Trayton are the two influencers who have gotten a spot for free just for this tournament, and will have to earn their spot should they want to compete in the permanent league. All players on the roster have no contract, nor salary, and will have a focus on streaming content, as did Los Ratones this year.
