Partizan are on the verge of reaching the EMEA Masters playoffs for the first time in their history
The third day of the EMEA Masters Summer 2025 once again delivered its share of surprises on Wednesday. The most exciting storyline remains the incredible run of Partizan Sangal, whose underdog story is shaping up to be one of the best in the history of the tournament. Sitting at 3-0, they have taken down three heavyweights already: GIANTX Pride, Galions, and now MISA Esports — all of whom were ranked in the top five of Sheep Esports’ pre-tournament power ranking.
Equally captivating is the rise of the Prime League, which stands firmly at the forefront after three days of play. Both Berlin International Gaming and the ROSSMAN Centaurs are still undefeated at 3-0. Their qualification for the playoffs could already be secured this Thursday. The test, however, is daunting: BIG will clash with Partizan in a momentum-heavy showdown, while ROSS confront Vitality.Bee, the sole LFL representative is still performing up to their standard.
The first qualifying and elimination best-of-threes will be played this Thursday
The LFL, meanwhile, finds itself in crisis. Despite VIT.B being undefeated, Gentle Mates lost to BIG, Galions struggled to edge out TeamOrangeGaming, while Karmine Corp Blue suffered another setback against Verdant, leaving them in a difficult 1-2 position. Their survival will be put to the test today as they face ULF Esports, the TCL’s third seed, in what promises to be a tough challenge.
The Superliga, on the other hand, is showing greater stability. Barça eSports’ stunning win streak was halted, but GIANTX Pride and Los Heretics responded with solid victories against Veni Vidi Vici. With these results, three Spanish representatives now stand at 2-1. Elsewhere, Los Ratones asserted themselves over Team Phantasma and are now gearing up for a demanding battle against the Bushido Wildcats, the second seed from the TCL.
