For the 2026 season, CGN Esports will field the same roster they had at the start of 2025, competing in the first group of the Prime League’s second division. The lineup will consist of Rosendo “Send0o” Fuentes Bóveda in the toplane, Muhammed “Agurin” Kocak in the jungle, midlaner Mike “Phantasm” Thiele, AD Carry Jona “Reptile” Fritz, and support Luca “Lucky” Santos Fontinha.
In Summer 2025, the team was competing in the German first division
before being suspended and relegated by the league following repeated lineup violations. CGN were disqualified from the Prime League, losing all season points, their playoff spot, and their place at the EMEA Masters Summer Split.
However, according to our sources, CGN could also return to the German first division as early as the start of the year, as one of the teams is reportedly insolvent and therefore out of the race. In this scenario, CGN and other teams could play a Last Chance Qualifier with the opportunity to climb to the German top tier.
Same squad, fresh start
The team showed a lot of potential and performed well in a less competitive PRM last year. In their very first split, CGN won the German league before being eliminated in the EMEA Masters Round of 16 by Los Heretics.
The team is made up of top-tier solo queue players. Agurin is very often in the top of the ladder and peaked at 2,174 LP last year. The same applies in midlane, where Phantasm peaked at 2,095 LP. Support Lucky peaked at over 1,300 LP last season, and in 2026 the mid–jungle duo are already Master and should not take long to climb back to the top of the rankings.
A Hope of a Fast Return to The First Division
Between their early exit in the Summer and January 2026, when they will compete in the second division, some CGN players haven’t been sitting idle. Send0o took part in the Iberian Cup 2025 with Veni Vidi Vici, reaching the semifinals while Agurin competed in the
Red Bull League of Its Own with No Need Orga, facing T1 and G2 Esports.
This time, they will maybe have to start from a lower level in an attempt to make their way back into the PRM, a league that has changed significantly this year with the arrival of G2 NORD and the very promising rosters fielded by other teams. Alternatively, they could end up facing these major contenders directly. One to watch on Agurin and his squad,
who had already contested the league’s decision at the time of their suspension.
