G2 Hel has officially returned to the pinnacle of the European women’s
League of Legends circuit. The European powerhouse clinched the LGC 2026 Rising Stage 5 trophy on September 15, 2026, following a dominant 3-1 victory over rivals SK Gaming Avarosa in the Grand Finals. Dropping only a single game across their entire playoff run, G2 Hel capped off their tournament campaign with their first regional title of the season.
The championship victory marks a return to the top for the organization, which faced uncertainty after

Marta "Shiina" Mesas Garrido and role-swapped midlaner Maya "Caltys" Henckel - alongside Alice "Wiosna" Mossé, Gina "Lumi" Kircher, and rookie botlaner Isabella "Izzeeri" — has finally translated potential into silverware.
The Stage 5 triumph therefore serves as redemption after a turbulent four-stage climb for G2 Hel. The squad kicked off the 2026 circuit on solid footing with a runner-up finish in Stage 1, conceding the final 1-3 to Mental Rush, but soon found themselves trapped in a mid-season slump. A 6th-place exit in Stage 2 following a loss to SK Gaming Avarosa was followed by an early 7th-place elimination against Good Chi Sakura in Stage 3. While G2 Hel recovered slightly to finish 4th in Stage 4, their run was once again halted by Avarosa in the third-place decider, making their Stage 5 resurgence all the more crucial.
Dominant Playoff Form
Entering Stage 5, G2 Hel initially endured a rocky start in the Swiss stage, narrowly securing playoff qualification with a 3-2 record, and notably suffering an early defeat to the eventual finalists, SK Gaming Avarosa. Once in the playoffs, however, the team found their stride and took complete control. G2 Hel dismantled their upper-bracket competition without conceding a single game, earning a direct berth into the Grand Finals.
SK Gaming Avarosa, who had served as G2 Hel’s primary hurdle in Stages 2 and 4, pushed through to challenge the undefeated leaders. While Avarosa managed to steal a single game in the best-of-five clash to prevent a sweep, G2 Hel closed out the series 3-1 to claim the Stage 5 crown.
With the five Rising stages now wrapped up, the final LGC Circuit Points standings are locked in. Despite settling for 3rd and 4th in Stage 5, circuit leaders Rising Bees (487 points) and Mental Rush (452 points) maintained their stranglehold over the top two seeds. SK Gaming Avarosa finished 3rd overall with 374 points, while G2 Hel’s 120-point championship haul propelled them to 4th place with 343 points. Alongside AZ Rising Eterna (248 points) and Blue Otter EMEA (182 points), the top six rosters have officially booked their spots for the season-ending LGC Main Event, which kicks off on October 11, 2026.
