Sources: AD Carry "Gwen" set to join KC Blue Stars in the Nexus League

After a successful Spring Split for in the Nexus League, which in parts led to the promotion of to the organization’s LFL roster, sources tell Sheep Esports that the team has found a new diamond in the rough to fill in its AD Carry position. Marking one of his first experiences in the competitive scene, Gwen is set to join the Blue Wall in Summer to compete in the Nexus League, marking the 21-year-old talent’s first break in the competitive scene.

Having first hit Master in 2022, Gwen has come a long way over the years. Today, the player sits in high Challenger, having peaked at 2655 LP mainly as a Zeri one-trick player who was known for his streams and highlights on social media. Recently, he competed with PCS Académie in the Nexus Tour, notably participating in the Gamers Assembly LAN, as well as the 95 Kings of Fields, though with a different team.

His competitive experiences are few, and he will have a lot to prove, though his sheer individual skill indicates that he could very well be one of the next big talents in the league if trained properly. Last split, the previous KCBS AD Carry, Looki, departed the team after being promoted to the organization’s LFL roster following the departure of from Karmine Corp. That same split, KCBS performed a nearly flawless run in the Nexus League, finishing first in the group stage, playoffs, and the pre-season Spring Dawn Tournament.

The Summer Split starts on July 18th in the Nexus League, where the French AD Carry will make his debut along with his new team. There, he will compete against seven other teams in a double round-robin best-of-one setup and aim to finish within the top four to qualify for playoffs and continue KCBS’ excellent track record in Spring. Matches can notably be watched on Team TSK’s Twitch channel, which should be streaming all matches on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4 PM on match days.
