Following the conclusion of the
Rocket League Championship Series 2026, Tristan
"Atow." Soyez, Alexis "
zen" Bernier and Axel "
Vatira" Touret are weighing up forming a new team together. According to our sources, the trio are locked in negotiations with the three biggest French organizations in the scene, including
Team Vitality,
Karmine Corp, and
Gentle Mates.
Jerome Coupez, who is the CEO of
ProdigySEG, the agency that handles the affairs of all three players,
confirmed in French on twitter that the trio was “
exploring all options and listening to proposals” and that the players have received “several concrete offers”. Atow and zen won the RLCS 2026 2v2 World Championship together this season and were the only duo competing together from different organizations.
According to sources, the situation remains fluid and negotiations might still take some time, but a final decision is likely to be decided this week. All three players are high-profile professionals with long-standing relationships with their respected organizations. Zen was signed by Team Vitality over four years ago before he was even eligible to compete in the RLCS and has since become the organization's franchise star after a historic streak to win the 2022-23 World Championship.
Likewise, Vatira joined Karmine Corp in 2022 and has become the face of that organization in Rocket League, winning three Majors since signing his first contract. Similarly, Atow has been competing with Vatira and Karmine Corp for close to three years now. This makes a move involving any of the three players difficult but multiple hurdles will have to be overcome for one organization to acquire all three.
The formation of this team has a chance to send ripples down the European scene. A number of players could be impacted by the move ahead of the RLCS Club Championship. Team Vitality, who underwhelmed during the 2026 World Championship with an early exit in 9th-12th, currently have Brice "
ExoTiiK" Bigeard and Gaspar "
stizzy" Andres on their books, players that can command spots on top rosters. Charles "
juicy" Sabiani, who was
expected to compete with both Zen and Vatira for France at the Esports Nations Cup
before its postponement, could enter the market. While the entire Major winning Gentle Mates roster of Archie "
Archie" Pickthall, Oskar "
Oski" Gozdowski, and Nassim "
nass" Bali could all play an important role on first-rate international rosters.
