Shopify Rebellion Gold crowned VALORANT Game Changers NA Stage 2 champion

Shopify Rebellion Gold has lifted the 2026 VALORANT Game Changers North America Stage 2 trophy after defeating FlyQuest RED 3-1 in the Grand Final. The victory not only marks the team’s first NA GC title of 2026 but also makes it the first squad to win a Stage 2 LAN event at Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles.

As a result, Shopify Rebellion Gold has earned direct qualification to the 2026 Game Changers Championship in São Paulo, Brazil. Meanwhile, FLY has received eight crucial circuit points and will have another opportunity to qualify for the Championship through the Last Chance Qualifier.

Shopify Rebellion Gold suffered a massive blow right before the Grand Final, as its star Sentinel player Nicole "Noia" Tierce had to return home after her father was admitted to the ICU. To replace her, the organisation brought back former player Sarah "sarah" Simpson as an emergency substitute, forcing the team to make last-minute adjustments to its strategies and roles.

Moving on, despite Haven being one of their strongest maps, SRG suffered a devastating 3-13 loss at the hands of FlyQuest RED. It seemed as if Noia’s absence was really affecting the roster; however, the North American powerhouse bounced back on the remaining maps.

Shopify Rebellion Gold edged out FLY in a nail-biting 13-11 battle on Sunset before securing a 13-10 victory on Split. Interestingly, sarah switched from Sentinel to Controller on the third map and proved to be a storm for the opponents to deal with. Not only that, but the Canadian player topped the scoreboard with a 28/15/3 KDA and 338 ACS, bringing SRG just one map away from the championship title.

The fourth map, Lotus, was the most closely contested map of the best-of-five series. Neither team was able to establish a dominant lead, although FLY held a slight advantage on the scoreboard.

FlyQuest RED eventually reached a 12-9 lead in the second half, leaving the team just one round away from pushing the series to the decider map. However, SRG’s adjustments and decision to play aggressively after a timeout paid off, as they forced the map into overtime. Eventually, Shopify Rebellion Gold closed out Lotus 17-15 to seal the series 3-1 and claim its first GC title under Alexis "alexis" Guarrasi’ leadership.

Shopify Rebellion Gold will be making its fourth appearance at the Game Changers Championship this year. The organisation lifted the global trophy in 2024, while finishing as runners-up in 2023 and 2025.

The event will take place from October 22 to November 1 at Riot Games Arena in São Paulo, with ticket sales already live on Eventim Brazil’s website. The 2026 GC Championship will feature 10 of the best Game Changers teams from across the globe battling for the ultimate title, with the following organizations already having secured their spots:
