VALORANT Champions 2026 bundle revealed featuring Phantom and transforming Fan Melee

Just a day after releasing this year’s Champions Anthem, Riot Games has revealed the VALORANT Champions 2026 bundle, named Frag or Die. The official trailer has introduced a new Phantom and melee skin, along with a gun buddy.

The other cosmetic items in the skinline have been kept under wraps for now. Moreover, it will be an exclusive collection available for a limited time, with a portion of its sales being shared with all VCT partner teams.

The Champions 2026 bundle features two primary weapon skins, including a Phantom and a melee that transforms between a reverse-grip knife and a traditional Chinese folding fan.

Both Frag or Die weapon skins feature a dynamic side-swap effect similar to the Black Market bundle released back in 2023. “It’s time to Frag or Die. Take the Champions 2026 Phantom and Melee into battle, complete with premium flourishes and a dynamic side-swap effect,” the official announcement stated.

As per the trailer, if a player is on the defending side, the skins will feature a pearl-white base with cream-gold detailing. However, attackers will carry the same weapons with a black-and-gold accented look. Matching auras (gold for defenders and dark red for attackers) also highlight the skins, probably when the player tops the scoreboard.

The Chinese dragon gun buddy, along with the kill banner, will also shift its color based on the Phantom’s color theme. Both skins also include a finisher animation featuring Chinese dragons, along with Sage and Viper shooting at each other, which is inspired by the Champions 2026 anthem, “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight,” music video.

The Frag or Die Champions 2026 bundle is also expected to bring three player cards and a spray, according to leaks. However, Riot Games has not officially confirmed these items so far.

The collection will be available to purchase through the in-game store starting September 22, which is also the launch date of VALORANT patch 13.06. The cost of the skinline is unknown at the moment; however, it is expected to cost around 6100 VP based on the prices of previous editions and current rumors. That said, players will also be able to purchase the Phantom or melee individually if they do not wish to grab the entire bundle.
