Sources: Wadi, Reha will return to the LEC with Team Vitality in 2027

is making its first offseason move ahead of the 2027 League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC). According to sources who have talked with Sheep Esports, the inaugural Demacia Cup Global Invitational quarterfinalist will sign Wadi “Wadi" Benarbia as the team’s new Head Coach and Rehareha “Reha" Ramanana as Strategic Coach. The duo will be the first pieces of Team Vitality’s rebuild and will play a key role in shaping the team for 2027.

Behind this decision, Wadi is considered a strong people manager, and Reha’s experience as an LEC Head Coach will allow him to support Wadi during his first year in the role. This would also allow Reha to focus more on in-game matters, which better align with his preferences.

Solary Head Coach and former LEC toplaner Danny “Dan Dan” Le Comte was also considered for the position, with the final decision coming down to him and Wadi, alongside Reha. The ERL Head Coach is now continuing to explore his options in the LEC.

The French duo previously coached together at Karmine Corp in 2025, where they won the Winter Split. Back then, Reha was the Head Coach of the team, and Wadi was his Assistant Coach. In 2026, Reha took a year off, while helping French Falir in the LFL behind the scenes. Meanwhile, Wadi coached KC Blue Stars in the Nexus League, the third team of Karmine Corp focused on development.

This will likely conclude the tenure of Patrick “Pad" Suckow-Breum,
Danusch “Arvindir” Fischer, Mauro "Garih" Garih Vidal, and Bjørn-Vegar “Hansen" Skauvold Hansen at the French organization, as their contracts expire at the end of the 2026 season. Pad coached Vitality for three years before being promoted to Head Coach this year.

The 2026 season saw Vitality take two steps forward and one step back. Going into the 2026 season, they added Marek “Humanoid" Brázda. The team had a great LEC Versus regular season before falling short in the playoffs. The team finished first in Spring but failed to win a single playoff game. This prompted a roster change as mid laner An “" Hyeon-seo joined for Summer.

Vitality finished the Summer Split in second place before a third consecutive Round 1 exit at the playoffs. Their regular-season finish secured them fifth place and a spot at Demacia Cup, where the French had a great showing, pushing to a five-game series.

The team will have an interesting 2027 offseason as the only member of the team still contracted next year is top laner and Spring Split MVP Kaan “" Okan, according to the Global Contract Database. However, according to our sources, the organization has not ruled out selling his contract. Overall, the 2026-2027 offseason could mark the beginning of a major rebuild for the Bees. With the team’s academy disbanding recently, could we see one last promotion from the Bees?
