âs academy system is set to become even more self-sufficient this offseason. Russian jungler
, who played for the organisationâs third team in the French second division this season, is set to be promoted to
, the clubâs academy team competing in the LFL, sources tell
Sheep Esports.
The move follows an impressive first year with
, the organisationâs third team, earning him a promotion to the LFL. He follows in the footsteps of several players who have made the same move between the two teams since last offseason.
Jungler Johnny Hoang âYukinoâ Dang has started exploring his options in Tier 1 following this change.
An early LFL offseason
Following the arrivals of Tolga âSerinâ Ălmez at Galions and Hamza âPandaâ Siala at Karmine Corp Blue, Oleg is the third player to commit to an LFL team for the 2027 season.
Like Galions, KCB is looking to finalize its roster as early as possible, with little competition for the players targeted by the organization. The upcoming LFL offseason could be a long one, as we still don't know which organizations will compete in the league in 2027, let alone which players will make up their rosters.
One thing is certain, however: Karmine Corp Blue will be there.
A dominant run in the second division
The latest addition to KCBS ahead of last offseason, Oleg replaced Theo âTheocacsâ Sauda after the organisation terminated its verbal agreement with the player. Despite this last-minute change, the team still managed to deliver a strong season. They began the year by coming close to an upset against Vitality.Bee that would have secured them a place in the LFL Invitationalâs Super Group. Competing in the French second division for the remainder of the season, KCBS went on to win the Nexus League in both the Spring and Summer Splits.
The jungler played a major role in those achievements, earning the Spring Split MVP award in recognition of his performances. Three KCBS players travelled to Paris for a showmatch during Karmine Corpâs LEC Roadshow in the Summer Split, but Oleg was unable to join them, having remained in Russia after failing to obtain a valid visa.
An academy system that keeps producing talent
With Olegâs promotion to the main academy team, Karmine Corp is adding another player to have worked his way up between its two secondary rosters. Last offseason, the French organisation promoted
and
to KCB. The latter was replaced midway through the season by another player from KCBS, German player
. Oleg will therefore become the fourth player to make the move between the two teams, and he is unlikely to be the last.
