Enzo "
tkzin" Zimiani made a record-breaking international debut at
VALORANT Champions Shanghai. Playing his first-ever series on the international stage, the
LOUD Duelist recorded three aces across two maps as his team defeated
EDward Gaming 2-0 in the opening round of the tournament.
The Brazilian recorded two of his three aces on Lotus before adding another on Summit, helping LOUD take the first map 13-8 and close out the series with a 13-5 victory. He finished the series with a 47/24/7 KDA, playing a key role with his Neon in LOUD's opening win at Champions.
A record-breaking debut
Tkzin's three aces are the most ever recorded by a player in a single series at an international VCT event. The Brazilian surpassed a record that had previously stood at two aces in one series, achieved by Adam "
mada" Pampuch against
Paper Rex at Masters Santiago 2026 and Angelo "
keznit" Mori against
Fnatic at Champions 2021.
The feat is even more notable considering that the
Champions series was the first international match of tkzin's career. The LOUD player had never previously competed at an international VCT event before arriving in Shanghai.
His three aces also came in a relatively short period after the first ace of his professional career. Tkzin recorded his first-ever ace on July 31, less than two months before Champions, during VCT Americas against
Cloud9.
LOUD start Champions with a 2-0 victory
The record-breaking performance came as LOUD secured a convincing opening victory over EDward Gaming in Shanghai. Playing against the Chinese organization on home soil, the Brazilian team controlled both maps and did not allow the series to reach a third game.
The result puts LOUD in a strong position at the beginning of their Champions campaign, while EDG will now have to fight through the lower bracket to remain alive in the tournament.
LOUD will return to the server on September 30, when they face
Team Vitality. EDward Gaming, meanwhile, will play against
Global Esports in the lower bracket on October 2.
