The road to the
League of Legends EMEA Masters Summer 2026 Main Event is almost complete, with the final eight teams now confirmed after the Last Chance Qualifier. The LCQ that concluded on Wednesday, September 23rd, brought together representatives from across EMEA fighting for the final spots in the tournament's second stage.
After winning two series in their respective groups, LODIS, Skillcamp, Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition, Otter Side, UCAM, SU Esports, Barca Esports and Gamespace Mediterranean College Esports have all secured their places in the Main Event.
Veterans & newcomers
Group 1 delivered a difficult path to qualification, with LODIS and Skillcamp eventually securing the two available Main Event spots. SKC reached its first EMEA Masters Main Event after navigating a challenging group. The LFL representative dropped a game to NLC's Arctic Pandas before also losing a series to LODIS, but recovered to secure its place in the next stage. The Rift Legends third seed, meanwhile, advanced in convincing fashion. The team benefited from the experience of players such as Paweł "Czekolad" Szczepanik, Dominik Paweł "zamulek" Biela and Jakub "Sinmivak" Rucki, allowing them to navigate the group and claim one of the two qualification spots.
Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition once again showed why they remain one of Prime League's strongest representatives, dominating Group 2 without dropping a game. Otter Side provided one of the LCQ’s surprises, defeating LIT third seed Team Aqua,
who joined the League scene shortly before the event, before taking down Hitpoint Masters representative Cita Kaizen. The result gives young Portuguese talent Alexandre "
TheGreatGary" Brito Freitas his first EMEA Masters Main Event appearance, while Deadly returns to the competition's main stage after five years.
LES on the top
UCAM enjoyed a clean run through Group 3, defeating mCon (ROL #3) and SU Esports (TCL #3) without dropping a series,
despite making a last-minute support change right before the tournament. After that defeat, SU Esports bounced back to claim the second qualification spot. The Turkish representative defeated Verdant (NLC #2) in a competitive series to secure its place in the Main Event. Verdant's young roster pushed SU Esports throughout the series, with players such as Guga "
Guggu" Tsertsvadze, Tarek "
Sayn" Djoghlaf and Lovre "
Mafro" Čorić continuing to showcase their potential against more experienced opposition.
Barca eSports secured its place in the Main Event without dropping to the lower bracket, although the Spanish side dropped a game against Portuguese third seed Bubliki during its run. Gamespace Mediterranean College Esports claimed the second qualification spot from Group 4 after defeating EBL's third seed Only the Family. Players such as Stavros "Vaynedeta" Giannoulakis, Yusuf Semih "Abagnale" Bilir and Cristian "Septico1" Axinte helped the Greek representative secure its place in the Main Event.
