An example to follow
After RRQ’s qualification for the VALORANT Champions in Paris, Ngô “crazyguy” Công Anh announced in a Facebook post that he would be donating all of his personal earnings from VCT Pacific Stage 2 to charity.
“I want to dedicate all of my personal prize money from Stage 2 to charity this time,” he wrote. “Hopefully, I can go deeper in the tournament to contribute even more.”

This is not the first time the Vietnamese player has made such a generous gesture. Back in 2023, he donated his winnings from Bleed Esports’ victorious Ascension run to charitable causes, as shown in a post still visible on his profile today. As of August 17, RRQ has already secured at least $40,000 in prize money and could earn significantly more depending on how far they advance in the playoffs.
A dream season
After defeating T1 in the lower bracket semifinals, the Indonesian organization is set to play for a spot in the Stage 2 grand final on August 30. A second-place finish would grant the team $65,000 to share, while a championship title would push that figure close to $100,000.

For RRQ, 2025 is already shaping up to be a historic season. The squad qualified for its very first international event at the Masters in Toronto earlier this year and went on to claim first place in Stage 1. The team is also guaranteed a ticket to the Champions in Paris this September. RRQ may or may not win its upcoming matches inside the server, but with its Vietnamese captain leading by example, the team has already earned a victory beyond the game.
