All in on the rookies
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, BBL are set to sign the entire BBL PCIFIC lineup for the 2026 VALORANT Champions Tour EMEA season following the squad’s promotion run in Ascension EMEA 2025. This would see Ali Eren “Crewen” Sargın, Utku “Loita” Kart, Yusuf Kaan “Lar0k” Kanber, Eren “Rosé” Erzan, and Umut "umu7" Pekdoğan compete under the BBL banner next year.
Several of these players — especially Lar0k and Loita — have attracted strong interest from other European teams, some of which are currently at the top of the standings. The five players have decided to reach an agreement with BBL so they can all play together and see what they’re capable of achieving as a team in VCT 2026.
BBL PCIFIC built momentum across the year, winning the VCL TR Kickoff, Stage 1 and Stage 2. They also secured a title on the continental stage by winning the first Challengers EMEA of the year. Then they ended in second place in the EMEA Stage 2 Playoffs, before delivering a strong Ascension campaign. Their Ascension run included a 2–0 over FOKUS, a 2–1 against Twisted Minds, and a 3–1 victory over DNSTY in the final, a clean performance, and claimed their slot in VCT EMEA.
BBL's second wind
For BBL’s main squad, 2025 produced a string of encouraging results after early roster changes, notably the arrivals of Dawid “PROFEK” Święć and Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen, which reinvigorated the project alongside the in-server output of Burak "LêwN" Alkan, later in March 2025 complemented by the 2024 EMEA Kick Off Champion Martin ”Magnum” Peňkov. Ultimately, the team finished at the top three in Stage 2, lost to GIANTX 3-0 and fall before EMEA finals and Champions Paris qualification. It was a strong performance, albeit with the frustrating disappointment of missing out at the last hurdle.
By signing the five players who earned BBL PCIFIC’s promotion, BBL preserves the mechanisms that fueled the late-season rise, defined roles and a stable map pool heading into 2026. For BBL PCIFIC, newly promoted into the EMEA league, the task now is to rebuild around a temporary slot and a market in which many top targets are already committed, presenting a demanding offseason challenge.
