exy returns after brief hiatus
According to sources, Dplus Esports has signed Park “exy” Geun-cheol to replace Park “Felix” Hyeon-ho on the active roster. Felix has recently been moved to the inactive roster, as announced by the player himself on X on June 10th. Still, per sources, Felix took this decision due to health concerns, prompting the team to bring back a familiar face to fill the gap for the remaining season.
Teamless since the start of the 2025 season, Exy is no stranger to Dplus. The Controller was part of the team from early 2022 until mid-2024 and played a big role in their success in the Korean VALORANT scene. He helped Dplus secure back-to-back titles in 2023 during Challengers Korea Split 1 and Split 2, and was a consistent presence in their playoff runs. Known for his versatility on agents like Omen, Brimstone, and Viper, exy’s return brings a familiar and experienced voice back to the lineup.
A rough Stage 2
Felix, who joined the team earlier this year, had recently been sidelined, and therefore now steps away from the roster altogether. The move to bring exy back seems to be aimed at maintaining team stability heading into the next stage of competition.
Dplus appears in need of a course correction following a disappointing Stage 2. Despite a promising start to the season, marked by a second-place finish in the first split, the team concluded Stage 2 at the bottom of the standings, securing only two victories against five defeats during the group stage.
With these changes, Dplus's roster is now:
- 🇰🇷 Jung “Bangnan” Min-u (정민우)
- 🇰🇷 Jung “kAyle” Soo-yong (정수용)
- 🇰🇷 Roh “CabezA” Geon-hyeong (노건형)

- 🇰🇷 Park “exy” Geun-cheol (박근철)
- 🇰🇷 Han “Rico” Jun-seo (한준서) (Substitute)
- 🇰🇷 Yoon “Frizz” Ki-sik (윤기식) (Coach)
- 🇰🇷 Jang “Seok” Min-seok (장민석) (Coach)
