A project launched in 2022, built through the DACH circuit
In a statement published on December 18, 2025, MOUZ announced their decision not to continue in VALORANT. The organisation stated that the current VCT format does not align with its ambitions and that it does not see a place for itself within the current ecosystem, while thanking its partners, players, and coaches for the past three years.
From the outset, the organisation positioned itself within the DACH circuit, then structured around the Challengers system, notably their runs in 2022, including a third-place in VALORANT DACH Evolution, a fourth-place finish in Stage 2, and more. In 2023, MOUZ reaffirmed their standing near the top of the regional scene, most notably securing second place at Challengers 2023 DACH: Arcade and entering the Ascension pathway via the EMEA play-ins, where they finished 7th/9th.
DACH titles, then a shift toward the EMEA level before the exit
The 2024 season represented one of the project’s competitive high points. MOUZ reached strong results in the DACH league, taking second place in Split 1 and then winning Split 2, which earned it a berth at Ascension EMEA, where the team placed 7th/8th in the group stage. In parallel, MOUZ remained active in third-party competitions, finishing second at THE POKAL 2024 and winning the A1 eSports Invitational 2024.
In 2025, MOUZ again claimed the DACH Split 3 title and then competed in Challengers 2025: EMEA Stage 3, where it finished 5th/8th in the group stage. It is against this backdrop, after several seasons built through the Challengers circuit, combining regional trophies with attempts to reach the next tier, that the organisation has now opted to step away from VALORANT, explicitly citing the fit between its ambitions and the current VCT format.
