The former DNSTY player makes his return to the VCT
According to Sheep Esports sources, Kamil "baddyG" Graniczka has reached a verbal agreement to join KOI for the upcoming VCT EMEA Stage 2. This move marks the 23-year-old Polish player’s return at the S-tier league, following his stint with DNSTY in the Challengers Spain since January 2025. KOI is looking to overhaul its roster after a disappointing 9th-10th finish in Stage 1 of the 2025 EMEA VALORANT Champions Tour. The team struggled to pick up a victory, earning only one win and four losses in the tournament.
A New Face for KOI
BaddyG is a promising player with several years of experience in the Tier 2 scene, but his journey also includes a notable stint at the top level. In 2022, he was part of the FunPlus Phoenix roster as a substitute during their victorious VCT EMEA Stage 1 Challengers campaign. Following that, he continued to shine in the Tier 2 circuit, winning VRL France Stage 2 with Team Vitality the same year. In 2023, he helped Team Acend secure a 3rd place finish at VCT Ascension after dominating both splits of VCL East. Now, he aims to replicate that success at a higher level of competition.
In 2025, playing for DNSTY in the Challengers Spain, BaddyG’s playoff run ended with a narrow 2–3 loss to KOI Fénix, the academy roster of the organization. Following this 3rd–4th place finish, he is now set to join the main KOI roster in the VCT—alongside his coach. Earlier this week, Sheep Esports reported that Simone “simoz” Giovannini, DNSTY’s head coach, had reached an agreement to join KOI in the VCT as well. KOI is currently trying out more players, as further roster changes are expected. With both DNSTY members moving together, KOI will benefit from an existing synergy that could help turn their results around in the upcoming VCT season.
