At only 19 years old, alexiiik joins the VCT EMEA
Alex “alexiiik” Hawlasek has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Natus Vincere in VCT EMEA season, according to sources close to Sheep Esports. At only 19, he will be one of the youngest players on the roster. He was one of Zero Tenacity's players in VCL earlier this year before the organization decided they would not continue their VALORANT project into Stage 3.
alexiiik quickly made a name for himself, earning in 2024 an MVP title during VCL's first split playoffs and playing in the Ascension tournament that same year. His move to NAVI marks a significant step up, as the team looks to bolster its roster with young talent to contend more consistently in the highly competitive EMEA region.
Another very young talent from VCL
Alexiiik is a young Czech Valorant player making a name for himself with sharp mechanics and steady growth. Starting his career in 2022, he quickly proved himself on teams like Enterprise Esports and GoNext Esports, where he earned an MVP title in 2024. This year with Zero Tenacity, he continued to show strong performances, especially on duelists like Yoru and Jett, and is considered one of the rising talents in the Challenger scene. He helped them reach the finals of the Challengers 2025 North/East Stage 2, but has been unfortunately released from the team as Z10 decided to leave all of their VALORANT activities.
He shall now stand for the name of NAVI, for whom it hasn’t been a quiet year in VCT EMEA. Coming into 2025, expectations were high — they always are for a name like Natus Vincere — but the team ended up wrestling with its own identity. Some weeks, they looked like contenders: clinical against Vitality, gutsy in a comeback over GIANTX. Other times, especially against more structured teams like Fnatic or Heretics, cracks showed. They finished the first stage at the 5-6th place despite a decent group stage after being placed in the "group of death". They explained they gained a lot of experience by working on their mental. They brought in a mental coach, sharpened their prep, and managed to claw their way into the playoffs. Now, they only look for more youth and raw talent to bring their name to the top of the charts.
