Ramón "Naruterador" Meseguer Fructuoso has been appointed as the new Head Coach of Ici Japon Corp in the LFL for the 2026 season, according to sources close to Sheep Esports. After spending four years with Team Heretics, he is making his return alone to a head coach position, without his faithful companion of recent years Víctor "Machuki" Machuca Segura. His last time in the LFL dates back to 2019, with GamersOrigin, during the league's inaugural year.

A former jungler who competed across various Hispanic leagues, Naruterador transitioned to coaching in 2018. He started as a coach in the EU LCS with GIANTS Gaming, alongside a young support player, Raphaël "Targamas" Crabbé. Despite limited success there, he later joined the staff of GamersOrigins and then S2V Esports in Superliga before arriving at Team Heretics in 2022. At that time, Team Heretics were in Superliga, and he helped them win the European Masters in Summer 2022 and Spring 2024.

His coaching career progressed as he became the Strategic Coach for the LEC Team Heretics in Summer 2024. The 2025 season was challenging for Team Heretics. The roster built around players Théo "Sheo" Borile and Víctor "Flakked" Lirola, supported by three rookies, underperformed, leading to significant planned changes, including the departure of Carl "Carlsen" Carlsen and Kamil "Kamiloo" Haudegond.

A new era for Ici Japon Corp

Meanwhile, Ici Japon Corp marked its first moves on the scene after a rollercoaster 2025 year. Promoted to the LFL after winning the Up & Down at the end of 2024 against AEGIS, IJC delivered a strong Winter Split, taking second place at Flash In behind Karmine Corp Blue and runners-up at the EMEA Masters, where they lost only in the grand final to Los Ratones. The team notably shone thanks to the mechanical genius of Lee "Hans SamD" Jae-hoon, who carried many games. However, they faltered in Spring, suffering a harsh first-round playoff defeat to BK ROG, the eventual champions, and lost Hans SamD to Natus Vincere for the Summer LEC split. The team then faded, missing the Summer playoffs.

Naruterador’s return to the LFL with Ici Japon Corp brings the ambition of steering the club back toward victory and stability, leveraging his extensive experience in Spanish and European League of Legends esports.
