The Nexus Tour will continue to exist, featuring six online stages and one offline stage
A new branding has been unveiled for the second division of the Ligue Française de League of Legends with the launch of the Nexus League. The competition will feature eight teams: five returning organisations — Karmine Corp Blue Stars, Skillcamp, Caldya Esports, Lille Esports, and Project Conquerors — alongside three newcomers: Galion Sharks, Lausanne Esports, and TLN Pirates.
All of these teams are therefore in the Second Division but might not compete there for the year. In January, the seven LFL teams, the eight Nexus League teams, and five invited teams will take part in the LFL Invitational. Of the 13 non-LFL teams, the top two will earn the chance to participate in the Spring and Summer Splits of the LFL.
The Nexus Tour also announced
Winning the LFL Invitational grants qualification for the EMEA Masters Winter Split, but the real prize for these teams will be securing a spot to compete in the rest of the year in the LFL. While nothing is decided yet, French Flair, the team led by streamer Jean “TraYtoN” Medzadourian, looks perfectly suited for it, boasting strong names in nearly every position. The other teams will most likely have to battle each other for the remaining spot.
The Nexus Tour has also been confirmed. Considered the third French division, it will take place starting in January and will feature seven stages, six online and one offline. This year, no team was promoted from the Nexus Tour to the Nexus League, as Skillcamp won the promotion tournament against Kaeru Gyuangu and NEO ZEPHYR.
