With Garih, JNX, and Arvindir, VITB now includes three members of BDSA 2024
Vitality.Bee have secured a promising acquisition at the close of the offseason. According to sources close to Sheep Esports, the French organization has reached a verbal agreement with Mauro "Garih" Garih Vidal to bolster its LFL coaching staff. After a difficult stint in the LEC with SK Gaming earlier this year, Garih will take on the role of Positional Coach and reunite with Head Coach Danusch "Arvindir" Fischer at Vitality.Bee. Together, the duo had propelled BDS Academy to impressive heights in 2024. The Swiss squad notably clinched both the LFL and the EMEA Masters titles in the Summer Split, with performances that positioned them among the strongest teams in ERL history.
The paths of Garih and Arvindir diverged thereafter. The German coach remained in the French league by joining VITB, taking advantage of the experience offered by LEC coaches James "Mac" MacCormack and Patrick "Pad" Suckow-Breum. Meanwhile, Garih followed two of his former players—Janik "JNX" Bartels and Steven "Reeker" Chen—to SK Gaming, continuing to serve as Assistant Coach. However, a lack of results—ninth place in both of the season’s opening splits—led to both solo laners losing their positions in the EMEA elite. They were replaced, respectively, by Park "DnDn" Geun-woo and Felix "Abbedagge" Braun, as previously reported by Sheep Esports.
Rediscovering the Formula
While Reeker’s future remains uncertain, JNX has already found a new team—also reported by Sheep Esports—returning to the LFL with... Vitality.Bee. Garih, once again, follows his toplaner and, together with Arvindir, will aim to rediscover the winning formula that once brought them so much success. Their shared objective will be to finally lead Vitality.Bee to its first-ever LFL title. The Bees have experienced a mixed 2025 season so far, with a 7th–8th place finish at Flash In and a fourth-place result in Spring.
Despite this, the team demonstrated significant potential, having topped the Spring Split group stage before faltering in the Swiss Stage and ultimately falling short in the playoffs. Vitality.Bee will also play the Summer Split with a new support, Waleed "Dekap" Mohammed, following the LEC promotion of Kadir "Fleshy" Kemiksiz, as previously reported by Sheep Esports.
