FNC adds staff for LEC
Fnatic announced on Wednesday, July 23, the signing of Richard “Immanuelity” Wolter as Performance Coach for its League of Legends team. Having already been working with the players for several months, he is now officially joining the squad for the LEC Spring 2025. A highly anticipated addition by Fnatic fans, who had been voicing concerns for some time about the limited support staff surrounding the players.
Richard previously worked at G2 Esports, with a career fully centered around esports. According to his LinkedIn, he began as an Administrative Intern for nearly a year before moving into the role of Sport Psychology Esports Intern. Still based on his profile, he worked with both the LoL team and the Game Changers VALORANT roster on various areas such as teambuilding, performance coaching, and nutrition. Ismael Pedraza, who was the Head Performance Coach above Richard, had specifically thanked him after G2’s victory in Summer 2024.
He’s now switching sides by joining Fnatic — G2’s historic rival. Based on his LinkedIn description, he’ll be handling similar responsibilities within the British organization. He also mentions offering one-on-one sport psychology consulting and mental training, essentially managing everything around Fnatic’s Berlin-based players.
