Rendez-vous on Scuttler’s Strand
This Tuesday, August 19, Riot Games confirmed the five arenas that will be available in the upcoming beta of 2XKO, its future 2v2 fighting game set in the League of Legends Runeterra universe. After recently announcing Vi’s addition to the roster and revealing the launch date for the closed beta, the North American publisher is now fine-tuning the details before making the game accessible to eager players starting September 9.
The Five Confirmed Arenas
- Annihilator’s Reach
The Noxus military camp seen in Arcane is Ambessa's base camp in the Riot Games animated series. Darius is also from Noxus.

- Scuttler’s Strand
A dark sand beach that is likely located within the Serpent Isles, near Bilgewater. Illaoi originates from this location in the LoL lore.

- The Brazen Hydra
A lively bar in Bilgewater, it allows players to immerse themselves in the pirate atmosphere of this area of the LoL universe.

- Spirit Hills
An enchanting landscape in the Ionia region, located in the northeast of Noxus, it is notably the place of residence of Ahri and Yasuo in the LoL lore.

- Bridge of Progress
A symbol of the connection between Piltover and Zaun, the Bridge of Progress is a character in its own right in Arcane, with its own significance and the battles that take place there. Vi, Jinx, and Ekko are all from Zaun in the lore.

A Highly Anticipated Milestone
These arenas further expand a roster that currently features eight champions, out of the ten that Riot Games plans to have available at launch. The closed beta for 2XKO will begin on September 9, 2025, on PC, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions set to follow later on. Players who have already taken part in previous test phases will gain automatic access, while newcomers can register now on the official website for a chance to secure their spot.
