Canada has found the seven players who will make up its
League of Legends roster for the Esports Nations Cup.
Led by Dylan Falco, Head Coach of G2 Esports in the LEC, Canada will field a roster featuring several players competing at the Tier 1 level, spread accross North America and in Europe, as the roster will be composed of:

- Jungle: Christian "KryRa" Rahaian, Jade "Sheiden" Libut
- Midlane: Joseph Joon "Jojopyun" Pyun, Djalal "Spirax" Djiar
- AD Carry: Fahad "Massu" Abdulmalek
- Support: Philippe "Vulcan" Laflamme

Seven players locked for Canada
Three of the selected players are currently competing in the LCS: KryRa with Disguised, Massu with FlyQuest, and Vulcan with Cloud9. Jojopyun also competes at the Tier 1 level, representing Movistar KOI in the LEC. Zamudo, though currently playing Tier 2 with NRG, was set to join LYON's star-studded LCS roster this year before visa issues intervened. While the Canadian player continues to navigate US immigration hurdles, competing in Saudi Arabia should present no such complications.
Submitted alongside Jojopyun at midlane, Spirax has been a dominant force in the NACL for several years, accumulating close to a dozen tournament wins over the past two years. Rounding out the lineup is Sheiden, who joins as a substitute after spending last year with Dignitas in the LCS. His addition brings the total to seven submitted players, meeting the requirement set by the Esports Foundation.
The roster is not short on shared history. Zamudo, KryRa, and Spirax all played together at Maryville University and on DarkZero Dragonsteel. Jojopyun, meanwhile, spent several splits alongside Sheiden and Vulcan on Evil Geniuses and Cloud9, giving the team a foundation of existing chemistry to build on.
Per sources, Team Canada has not yet decided whether Jojopyun or Spirax will start in the midlane.
Points Earned by the Canadian Roster
Nations are ranked by cumulative points across their submitted rosters, with standings locked on June 14, 2026 to determine which 16 teams qualify directly for the main event. Based on Canada's current point total, they are not expected to crack the Top 16, meaning they will likely need to go through the North American qualifiers in June to secure their spot. If they advance, Canada would join 31 other nations at the main event in November.
For now, Canada has 1166,66 points, distributed as follows:
- Zamudo (0 points)
- Kryra (150 points)
- Sheiden (0 points)
- Jojopyun (383.33 points)
- Spirax (0 points)
- Massu (233.33 points)
- Vulcan (400 points)
Dylan Falco with North America
As G2 Esports' Head Coach, Dylan Falco has not led a North American roster since 2017, despite hailing from Canada himself. Over the past eight years, he has coached exclusively in Europe, with stints at Fnatic, Schalke 04, and G2 Esports, though he cut his teeth on home soil leading Immortals and Team EnVyUs earlier in his career.
Dylan was selected for the Esports Nations Cup by Esport Canada, an organization supported by OverActive Media, the same group that owns Movistar KOI. With Jojopyun potentially on the starting roster, Dylan could find himself either gaining rare insight into a direct rival's midlaner, or coaching him outright.
