Canada has selected its representative to coach the national team for
League of Legends at the upcoming Esports Nations Cup.
Dylan Falco, currently the head coach of
, will lead the Canadian squad for the event, the tournament organizers announced on Thursday. The decision is widely seen as a logical one, given Dylan Falcoâs extensive experience and track record in the Western scene. Over the years, he has become one of the most accomplished coaches in the LEC, winning multiple titles with both G2 Esports and Fnatic.
With this first step, Canada has placed a strong and respected figure at the head of its team before completing the roster at a later stage for the Esports Nations Cup in
League of Legends. Several players already stand out as highly likely candidates to join the lineup. Among them is mid laner
, as well as a bot lane pairing featuring
and
. All three are experienced tier-one players who have already competed in several international tournaments.
However, uncertainty remains regarding who will fill the top lane and jungle roles. The answers should become clearer in the coming days as Canadian head coach Dylan Falco begins finalizing his selections.
All information about the ENC 2026
Scheduled from November 2 to 29 for its first edition in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, the nation-based competition, the largest in esports history, is expected to bring together thousands of players from around a hundred countries, competing across nearly 16 games. Alongside the League of Legends tournament, set to take place from November 21 to 29, there will also be nation-based competitions in VALORANT, Counter-Strike, Rocket League, and Rainbow Six: Siege. For Riot Gamesâ MOBA title, around 32 teams, each representing a nation, will compete on site.
Before that, the participants still need to be decided. The Esports Foundation, which oversees the ENC and the Esports World Cup (two separate events), has decided that 16 teams out of the 32 will qualify directly for the final tournament, based on the results of their representatives in Riot Gamesâ official competitive circuits. The other participants will have to go through seven regional qualifiers, each offering two spots. The remaining two slots will reportedly be allocated by the ENC in the form of wildcards, likely at the discretion of the event organizers.
