After losing Martynas "
Koshmaras" Namikas, who left to join Team Heretics in
VCT EMEA, DNSTY has set its sights on Jasiek "
jas" Nieliwodzki as his replacement, according to sources close to
Sheep Esports. The Polish player, who notably earned MVP honors in the Challengers France 2024 Split 2 Grand Final with Joblife, had been without a team since late January following Metizport’s abrupt end.
Having entered
VALORANT in 2025, the Italian organization quickly established itself as one of the top teams in
Challengers Spain, the league covering Portugal, Italy, and, of course, Spain. Initially runners-up in Stage 1, they eventually claimed the title in the year-ending finals, securing a spot at Ascension EMEA. In that tournament, alongside the best Tier 2 teams in Europe, DNSTY came within one series of reaching VCT EMEA 2026, falling 3-1 to ULF Esports in the decisive match. This year, the Italian side has remained just as competitive, consistently staying among the top teams in the league and even finishing second in Stage 2.
A hectic year for DNSTY
Despite these results, the club has still made roster changes. Moussa "Chapix" Faour, who joined at the very start of the year, was replaced in February by Balázs "
Chadi" Farsang, who was himself benched at the start of VCL Spain Stage 3 in favor of Koshmaras. After just two matches, the Lithuanian Duelist was urgently picked up by Team Heretics, a move recently reported by
Sheep Esports. As a result, the Italian organization is set to sign its fourth player of the year with
jas.
The Polish player spent much of his career competing in Challengers East, back when the league still existed, with stints at Z10 Esports and B8 Esports before moving to France at the end of 2023. With JL, he won both competitive splits of the year, though the team failed to maintain that dominance at Ascension 2024. In 2025, he returned to the East league, now merged with VCL North, joining Enterprise Esports, where he continued to win almost everything. After claiming Stage 2, jas and his teammates went on to win Challengers EMEA shortly after, before also taking Stage 3 of the NORTH//EAST league. The run ended more abruptly with a Top 9-12 finish at the final Challengers EMEA, followed by a Top 7-8 at Ascension and an elimination against Joblife.
Currently in the Winner Bracket Final of VCL Spain Stage 3 Phase 1, DNSTY will face Barça eSports on April 12 with their new player for a spot in the Grand Final.
