VCT Pacific has been one of the most unpredictable leagues in 2026, with underdogs such as Global Esports and Nongshim demolishing some of the established organizations to lift regional and international trophies. The teams that couldn’t make it to
VALORANT Champions Shanghai will now be looking to prepare for the 2027 season.
With Riot Games revamping the entire circuit, the
new format will not only test teams coming through the
Open Qualifiers but also the partnered teams. The selected organizations across all regions will only receive a direct invite to Kickoff, making consistent performances more important than ever.
To achieve these goals, while some organizations will keep their core intact, others will undergo a total roster rebuild. Multiple VCT Pacific players and coaches can already be seen posting about their contracts ending as they look for a new home.

Sheep Esports has listed all team members whose contracts are expiring this year, based on the
VCT Global Contract Database.
RRQ’s head coach, Jovanni "
Jovi" Vera, who is contracted through 2027, is also
looking for a new organisation to join for the next VCT season.
The team has also
allowed its IGL, Kelly "
kellyS" Sedillo, to explore options heading into 2027, even though his contract is scheduled to run until the end of 2028.
While the VCT Global Contract Database also has Goo "
Rb" Sang-min, Kim "
Francis" Mu-bin, Park "
Ivy" Sung-hyeon, and Jung "
Xross" Hwan’s contracts ending in 2026, the organization has already
announced their extensions for another two years.
After competing in the
VALORANT esports scene for six years, Crws
announced his retirement on August 22.
