From Oceania to a South Asian project

According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Shawn "KADIRI" Duhan has reached a verbal agreement with Gods Reign for the 2026 VALORANT Challengers South Asia (VCSA) season. The Australian player has established himself as one of the rising talents in the Oceania region after an initial notable stint with Arcade Esports in 2024, during Challengers League 2024 Oceania: Stage 1.
In 2025, he took a further step forward by joining E-KING, with whom he strung together results on the Oceanic scene: the team won Challengers 2025: Oceania Stage 1 and Stage 2, earning a spot at VCT 2025: Pacific Ascension, where they finished in the 9th–10th place range after the group stage. Primarily used in Sentinel roles on agents such as Cypher, Vyse, and Killjoy, he has built a reputation as a specialist in site anchoring and information control within the OCE region.
Gods Reign, a planned return to VALORANT
For Gods Reign, the signing of KADIRI fits into a broader plan to return to the VALORANT scene after several years of absence. The Indian organization had previously made its mark before stepping back from the official circuit, focusing on other titles while leaving a potential comeback to Riot’s FPS on hold.

In this context, bringing in a profile like KADIRI marks a clear turning point: that of a 2026 project built around a talent developed within the VCT Oceania ecosystem and already tested at Pacific Ascension. By targeting a player capable of translating his experience as a regional OCE league champion and Ascension competitor into a South Asian project, Gods Reign would be laying the first foundations of a new competitive cycle.
