âs crazy year keeps rolling, and they somehow turn every new series into the most iconic match in their history. On April 14, they punched their ticket to the EMEA Masters Winter 2026 grand final in style, reverseâsweeping 3â2. At the same time, they locked in the second and last spot for the Esports World Cup 2026 qualifier, where theyâll get a shot at facing LEC teams to earn the right to challenge the very best squads in the world.
Solary will now meet in the EMEA Masters grand final, a team they know extremely well after already clashing three times in bestâofâfive series since the start of the year. The balance of power was clearly in Solaryâs favor during the LFL Invitational (3â1 and 3â0), but things looked very different when they met in the EMEA Masters winter winnerâbracket final, which Galions took 3â1. Both teams also faced each other on the opening day of the LFL Spring Split last week, resulting in a second consecutive victory for Galions.
After the confidence boost from the reverse sweep against MISA, CĂ©sar âWakzâ Hugues said on OTPâs broadcast that they had been scrimming Galions less in recent weeks, aware that they would be their toughest opponents in the competition. They were right.
Both teams will get to throw down once again in absolutely epic conditions, with a firstâever EMEA Masters title on the line for each club and the chance to become the successors to and on Europeâs throne.
LFL is the best ERL in Europe
Once again this year, the EMEA Masters grand final will be an allâFrench showdown, the third time in the tournamentâs history that weâve had such a scenario (Spring 2022, Summer 2024, Winter 2026). For comparison, no other European league has ever managed to send two teams from the same league to the grand final.
On top of that, this guarantees the LFL a ninth EMEA Masters title out of the 18 editions played so far, meaning the league wins the tournament basically once every two editions, cementing the dominance of a scene that keeps attracting the rising stars we soon see blooming in the LEC.
