Riot Games has revealed the final additions to the
2XKO roster on October 7, with Samira and Sett set to join the
League of Legends fighting game on October 27. While Samira had already been announced, Sett’s reveal came as a surprise, making the pair the final champions planned for the game. The two champions were presented on through
2XKO’s official X account in a new gameplay showcasing both characters and their respective kits.
While
Samira’s arrival was already known, Sett’s inclusion came as a surprise. Riot had previously confirmed Samira as the game’s next and final champion, with her release planned for the 1.3.3 patch in late October. Sett, however, had not been publicly announced before the reveal, making his addition the final major surprise for
2XKO’s roster.
Samira was initially revealed alongside Lux during EVO Vegas in June, and Riot subsequently confirmed that the Desert Rose would arrive as part of the game’s final major content update, with her release now scheduled for October 27. Sett will launch alongside her, completing the roster as Riot prepares to move away from active development of 2XKO.
This came after Riot Games announced in August that active development of the fighting game would end at the end of 2026. The decision followed an assessment of the game’s player numbers and long-term viability, with Riot stating that 2XKO had not reached the level of engagement required to remain sustainable. The servers will remain online after development ends, while the team will finish the content already in production.
Before Samira and Sett arrive,
2XKO will head to Nice for
EVO France from October 9 to 11. The Major will therefore be the last major competitive event played before the two champions join the roster on October 27.
