LYON Inspired: "Once I’m done playing League, I’d rather not have anything to do with it. I don’t really enjoy League that much"

Was the real leader of the pack? arrived at their home turf in Mexico City to prove why they’ve dominated the 2026 League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) season. The task was not going to be a walk in the park because couldn’t be underestimated unless they were expecting to lose, as they did in Week 4. Their second series featured the undefeated TL, and direct competition for the top of the table.

The Pride had a perfect weekend at their Den, easily dispatching both C9 and handing TL their first series loss of the season with a convincing 2-0. Following his matches against both teams, Kacper “" Słoma sat with Sheep Esports for an exclusive interview. The Polish superstar shared his thoughts on his return to Mexico, how he evaluates his team’s performance in his absence, and how he manages Kang “" Sung-in’s “ego”.

Kacper “Inspired" Słoma: “It’s been pretty nice. The whole arena was cheering for us. There are so many fans, and everyone likes us. It’s a very nice experience to be here, and I’m happy we managed to get the win for the arena to cheer. It was an excellent weekend.

Inspired: I took a break for personal reasons. Yeah, it was fine. It was pretty good.

Inspired: I’m not sure. When I came back, I just wanted to see how everyone was doing. Saint wasn’t having as much fun without me. He is the type of player who gets very tilted when his teammates make mistakes. I think

Armao

(Jonathan Armao) wasn’t the best player when it comes to mechanical play. Whenever Armao made a mistake, Saint got very mad, so there were many clashes within the team. It was for sure very stressful for Armao to play. Once I got back, I managed to put Saint’s ego back in place.

Inspired: I mean, probably. Even after this weekend, he might have some ego because we won some irrelevant games. I’ll make sure he doesn’t get cocky going into the playoffs.

Inspired: I don’t think so. On every team I’ve played for, I always try to have the highest chance of winning. I wouldn’t say I ever made a team play around me, or do anything like that. I always look at my teammates, and I’m always fast at figuring out their strengths and weaknesses. I just make the team’s game plan around the strengths and weaknesses of the team. That’s why I’ve been having a lot of success.

Inspired: Without me, they were making many plans. Some of them were good, and some were bad. That’s probably the weakness of a lot of teams; they make many plans. However, to win the game, you don’t need to make many plans; you need to make a few good ones. I’ve seen them force some really good plays, but some unnecessary plays too. I think that’s pretty normal. When I’m on the team, I’m usually the one who would call off the play. Saint likes to make many plays, so that’s why he might overforce.

Inspired: I don’t know if I’d like to do anything with the broadcast in the future. Once I’m done playing League, I’d rather not have anything to do with it. I don’t really enjoy League that much. If they would pay me very well to be on the broadcast, I would be down. However, when I’m done playing, I would probably rather enjoy life than do something League-related.

Inspired: I told my teammates that the game doesn’t matter. Let’s play and try out the drafts we’re not sure about to see how it goes. The game is irrelevant; though fans might be really hyped up because we won, personally, I would feel the same if we lost both games. I’m looking forward to playoffs.

Inspired: I think names like Bjergsen (Soren Bjerg) and (Yiliang Peng) didn’t achieve enough to be in the Hall of Fame of the whole league. They could definitely be in the NA Hall of Fame, but to put them with names like Caps, Uzi (Jian Zi-hao), and (Lee Sang-hyeok), the achievements need to be there. I would go with an Asian player, but who would it be?

I’m not sure if it’s too early to call (Ryu Min-seok) part of the Hall of Fame, but he’s definitely the best support to ever play the game. I don’t know how long it’s going to last until someone better comes out; I don’t think it will ever happen. However, he’s also very young, so it’s kind of weird to call him part of the Hall of Fame already. If I had to choose, it would probably be Keria because I don’t think there’s any player that made as much difference as he did.

Inspired: Yeah. I think it’s a pretty safe choice. There’s no other support that plays as well as he does.”
