LoL: Karmine Corp announce their roster for the Red Bull League of Its Own tournament

Karmine Corp announced on Tuesday the roster they will field for the Red Bull League of Its Own. Six players have been selected to compete in the team’s potential three matches scheduled for Saturday. The French organization also took the opportunity to confirm the signing of two players who will represent Karmine Corp Blue next year. As previously reported by Sheep Esports, midlaner Kamil "Kamiloo" Haudegond and support Olivier "Prime" Payet will join the academy roster for the upcoming season.

Both players will therefore participate in the event alongside Caliste "Caliste" Henry-Hennebert and Xu "Tao" Hongtao Alessandro from Karmine Corp Blue Stars, who will also play for KCB next year. Johnny "Yukino" Dang and Martin "Yike" Sundelin will share the jungle duties across the two matches the team is guaranteed to play.

With four players expected to be part of next year’s KCB lineup, the French team’s academy will be prominently represented during the event. There will be no appearances this time from Kim "Canna" Chang-dong, Kang "Kyeahoo" Yea-hoo, or Alan "Busio" Cwalina — twe last two have not been announced yet.

The organization’s CEO, Kamel "Kameto" Kebir, explained the decision during a Twitch stream: “We have a specific schedule for the LEC team, and we couldn’t bring them this time. The dates just didn’t align.” As a result, the KCB players—who will also take part in the LEC Versus—will make up most of the roster for these showmatches.

Nevertheless, Karmine Corp has chosen to field both of its junglers for the event. While the full schedule has not yet been revealed, KC has already announced the teams it will face on Saturday. The team will play Los Ratones with Yukino serving as jungler, while Yike will take the starting role for the match against G2 Esports. The winner of the matchup between the two LEC teams will then face T1 in a potential third game. Last year, Karmine Corp claimed victory in the showmatch against G2 Esports, with both teams fielding their LEC rosters.
