RLCS 2026 World Championship, earning $50,000 each from the prizepool. They were taken to the very edge by Team Falcons representatives, the twins Saleh Abdullah

No Miss Just Fake, were the only two players competing at the 2v2 Championship who were not a part of the same organization. None of the competitors from the 1v1 Championship, including the
crowned winner Nassim "
nass" Bali featured in the 2v2 bracket.
Zen
made headlines in the build-up to the RLCS World Championship by becoming the first player to reach a 2,900 MMR rating in 2v2 ranked, before breaching 3,000 MMR just a few days later. The French star was coming off a devastating 9th-12th place exit with Team Vitality in the 3v3 bracket, his third exit in a row at this stage of a World Championship. Atow remains in the event with Karmine Corp, after the French organization defeated Virtus.pro 4-2 to secure a top-four placement. No Miss Just Fake dropped only fives across ten series from the very beginning of the European 2v2 Open.
If there was any team could take down zen and Atow, Team Falcons were seen as a strong challenger. In MENA they were taken to their limits by Mohammed Khalid "trk511" Alotaibi and Ghazi "Ghaazi" Al-Otaibi in a seven-game series during the grand final of the 2v2 Open, but managed to qualify for the World Championship with their final goal. They then faced FURIA, featuring Brazilian duo Pedro Henrique "swiftt." Lewy Gomes and Yan Bernardo "yANXNZ" Xisto Nolasco. While the series was competitive, the twins defeated their South American opponents 4-2 to set up the match against No Miss Just Fake.
Zen and Atow dominated the European 2v2 Open in June, dropping only one game across eight series, sweeping Karmine Corp (Vatira & Juicy) in semi finals and Gentle Mates (Oski & nass) in the grand final. They were then matched up against Spacestation Gaming (reveal and zach) in the semi finals at the World Championship, defeating the American duo 4-1. Spacestation Gaming had beaten Not Really Good (diaz & Evoh) 4-3 and FUT Esports duo Cohen "Tawk" Hawco and Carlos "CHEESE." Aguado 4-2 in the grand final of the North American Open to reach the 2v2 Championship. However, they were ultimately second best to zen and Atow.
Zen has become the first player to become a champion in two game modes, having won the 3v3 RLCS 2022-23 World Championship with Team Vitality. Atow adds this medal to a growing list of achievements for a Belgian professional that has gradually become one of the greats of the Open Era since making his RLCS debut as 15-year-old with Team Liquid in 2022.
